266/365 :: This is currently one of Milo's favourite games. Here he doesn't look too amused but he is usually smiling like crazy.
267/365 :: This is an example of me getting cocky and saying all day, "Oh, I'll take my photo later" and then almost forgetting and taking this one of me playing Plants vs. Zombies 2 in bed.
268/365 :: Arrrgh.
269/365 :: We swiped this from the recycle bin at Ivan's Grandma's house. Couldn't let this cool old bottle go to waste.
270/365 :: Once again, Milo doesn't look amused. In reality he has been smiling a crazy amount this week. It is such an awesome feeling to be able to make him smile and laugh!
271/365 :: I made these muffins again but used chunks instead of chips. As much as I love the chunks, I think the texture of these muffins is better suited to chips. Still delicious though!
272/365 :: A little father son piano time.
We had a good weekend over here. We picked up some paint chips to decide on some colours for a few home projects that have been on our list since we moved in. I think our bedroom is the first thing that we will work on and I am really excited because our bedroom is currently really boring.
Milo also got his passport photos taken and baby passport photos are pretty funny and kind of hard to take. I have heard of places that let you lay your baby down on a white piece of paper but the place we went to didn't. So...I had to hold him with a blanket covering my hands because a totally out of place blanket on his chest is fine but my hands in the photo is unacceptable. Silly passport rules. Obviously someone is holding this baby, he's three months old! Anyways, Milo was very cooperative and we got them done. Hooray!
Another new thing this weekend was that I started seriously exercising again which makes me feel fantastic. I tried exercising at 6 weeks postpartum but my body told me no thank you so I waited a while longer. I have kind of done a few things here and there but this weekend Ivan hung out with Milo on Saturday and even put him to bed on Sunday so that I could exercise for real. I have really missed it, it makes me feel so energized and great!
Ok, that's all I have to report from this weekend. I hope you all had a good one! Also, holy smokes, can you believe it is the last day of September?!

These pics are just delightful, Elycia! Milo wears a lot a of stripes, doesn't he? He is so handsome. I love his little expression. The father-son piano moment is precious. Congrats on the exercising! I know that feels great! And I can't believe it is the last day of September either. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHa! yep! I bought a 4 pack of striped long sleeved onesies and they are some of the few that fit him at the moment. Plu long sleeves are awesome for this weather.
DeleteBAAAAABY PASSPORRRRRT. OH MY GAWSH.
ReplyDelete(I'm gonna cry so hard when I finally get to meet the little dude)
yesss! Is a baby going to have his passport before you?
DeleteUgh I'm so addicted to Plants Vs. Zombies 2. Trying to save those endangered flowers is currently the bane of my existence. Good to know I'm not the only one who plays in bed :|
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cool bottle I love old glass pop bottles. Also love that piano time pic, you can tell by his face that Milo is just soaking so much up all at once it's crazy how much babies learn so fast!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you!
Yup - I also can't believe it's the last day of September! And it is soooo cold here, last year at the end of September it was way more hotter, now it is awful, I met with some blog friends from Poland and I'm ill!
ReplyDeleteI really love your photos and descriptions to them - so funny! :D and you made me so so hungry for sweets because these cookies you cooked!!!! :O

ReplyDeleteAwww I love these posts so much! I need to start doing things like this so that I actually take REAL photos instead of just quick iPhone snaps! I'm 7 weeks postpartum after a C-section and am ready to start exercising again! What have you been doing?
