The other day I pulled out my yarn to make a few granny squares for my never ending afghan. I ended up arranging them by colour on the bed and I was just obsessed with they way it looked. Originally I was just taking a photo for my 365 project but I ended up taking a bunch that I had to share because they are just so bright, colourful and happy.
Ah! I love it!!

They look so lovely! I'm obsessed with arranging things by colour, and I can't wait until I've got enough yarn to do this myself.

These photos are so vibrant! xo
ReplyDeleteAh I LOVE those colors! I have a bit of an obsession with buying pretty yarn, even if I don't know what I'm going to use it for yet. Needless to say, I love those colors :)

Elycia!
ReplyDeleteYou might want to know about this gorgeous self-striping acrylic yarn I just discovered. You can see the rainbow sweater and the yarn in the link below. It's Bernat Mosaic and the rainbow colorway is called Psychedelic. It's amazing to work with!

he he...I have a never-ending afghan, too! :) It's a circle granny square pattern, too, and I had sooo much fun mixing and matching colors for it. Love them all laid out together!
ReplyDeletePretty! I love yarn! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't Pinny try to steal them? My cat Sam, everytime sees yarn, catch it and run away xD
ReplyDeleteGreat colors, like your grannys. I'm doing two projects, both with grannys, but made in diferent ways, and I know what you mean by never ending projet.

Great colors! What brand of yarn is this? It looks really soft and fun to use.
ReplyDeleteSome of it is Impeccable Loops & Threads and some is Red Heart.
DeleteAww ^.^ Your kitty snuggles in your yarn like my dogs snuggle in mine, lol. How cute!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty!! I love the colors!

So funny that you have a never-ending afghan, too. Mine is... well... tiny - at least compared to what I had imagined it to be when I first started working on it. I think I started 1 1/2 years ago and never seem to make any progress even though I have run out of some colours already. Looking forward to seeing your finished afghan though (you will probably never going to get to see mine...).

I love these! The colours are so bright and fun. There is something about stacking up granny squares that feels so... accomplished, isn't there?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the I ♥ This Yarn from Hobby Lobby. Have you had any problems getting certain colors lately? Apparently we have some sort of "dock workers on strike" issue in the US making it difficult to get colors (mainly mustard).
