Ooh, what are you reading this week? And I think every mid century home in the niagara region was built with those open air shelves right by the front door! Is the bottom section of yours a bookcase as well? Admittedly I like the feature in my home, but as I rent and I cannot paint, it doesn't look anywhere near so spiffy as yours! (seriously, not one bit!)
Yes! I think so, haha! I love them. The bottom is a book case, you're right! Ours was a yucky poopy brown colour when we moved in so I painted it white and I love it so much now!
Making root beer? Sounds like fun!! Nice snowflake pic, it's so hard to get them to show up when they are small like that! Aww Pinny is cute!!! Love all your cameras! =P
I love your knitted afghans...those are the coziest blankets. Also, my husband and I are planning to give soda making a try! I think we're going to start with birch beer. :) good luck on yours
The book is called "Bitterblue" and it is the third in a series of books (Graceling, Fire, Bitterblue). It is a fantasy type book (my favourite) and is actually in the Young Adult section.

That last picture is so adorable that it should be outlawed. I especially love how it looks like a tiny kitten is sitting on her head.
