I have been wanting to wear my tie again ever since my last outfit post but I realized that I don't have very many shirts with small collars. Then I remembered this dress that I haven't worn in quite a while. I was really excited to wear it again, especially now because it matches my hair. I really need to find some more collared shirts/dresses. I bet I have at least one more hanging around the house that I don't realize.
Also, I broke down and bought myself a straightener for my hair. I didn't use for these photos but I'm happy to have the option again. I am promising myself that I won't use it too much because I do want to be nice to my hair but sometimes it needs a little smoothing!

That dress is adorable, such a cute pattern. I just bleached/dyed my hair and I am finding it so difficult not to use heat to style. I've managed to avoid my straighteners so far but I just cannot face leaving the house in the morning with wet hair - it's just too cold! Your hair looks like it is in great condition at the moment though, absolutely beautiful! xo
ReplyDeleteI recently moved to Korea and I purposely left all of my implements at home in order to force myself to go au natural. It's definitely helped me fall back in love with my hair, as is.

Your hair looks aMAZing with that dress and tie. Such good colors on you! And I love the alternating nail art. You are adorable!

This a super cute outfit! I love all the colors together and those shoes are just dreamy! I remember bleached hair days and trying to keep off of it, it's so hard sometimes! I really liked Nexxus heat protexx spray!

I seriously need to splurge on a lady tie, they are the cutest! I love how it matches your hair and this dress was uch a great find!!
ReplyDeleteyour hair looks awesome!
ReplyDeletemy hair is the same length and i cant get it to stay up!
could you do a tutorial? or photo of the back or spill all your tips and tricks ha ha ha
it looks so nice!
My hair is actually long at the back so it goes up really easily. It looks a lot shorter than it is because I have been curling it most of the time. I will have to wear it long and straight so you can see what is really going on back there. Thank you!
DeleteThat little tie is so cute aaand I want my hair pink now!

You totally look like you came back from the 50's. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love that you're wearing all these little pops of pink now. It makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteTHis outfit is FANTASTIC.
ReplyDeleteI have to say Elycia that I've never been more gutted to see that a dress is thrifted! If this dress was in a shop I would buy it even if they didn't have my size I love it so much. I especially like the length as I get very self conscious in anything short, above the knee is about as short as I go, even in shorts. I love all your outfit posts, you have such a fun style, I love it!
ReplyDeleteomg you are just adorable with that dress! <3
ReplyDeleteLove your nails!
ReplyDeleteYour cotton candy-coloured hair looks adorable with this dress! Love the nails too!
ReplyDeleteThis is the sweetest dress I ever saw! My youngest daughter has started coloring her hair, it seems to fade so fast, it was BRIGHT purple 2 weeks ago, and now it's lavender. Do you have any good tips for keeping the pretty colors?
ReplyDeleteI actually am in love with faded colours at the moment so I would be excited about the lavender! Ha! However, if you want to keep the colour longer, try leaving it on longer while you are dying. A couple hours won't hurt at all (just don't leave bleach on longer than recommended). Also, washing infrequently and with cold water really help keep colours bright.
DeleteYou're the cutest. I love that your hair matches your collar.
