It is super weird to see myself wearing so little colour! Once in a while though I really like to wear super plain outfits, especially when I have bright hair. I still do prefer to wear a ton of colour most of the time though...even when it makes me look like someone barfed up a package of skittles. Sorry, that was a kind of gross way of saying that I like colour. I'll think of something better for next time.
A few years ago I collected a pretty sweet assortment of hats but I only ever want to wear them in the fall. I don't really know why fall screams "hats!" to me but it does. This is definitely my favourite one because of the fancy little feathers. I'm going to pull out my hat collection and dust a few more of them off before my self-imposed hat wearing window closes.
Today I am excited about my sewing date with Andrea. It will be nice to spend some time hanging out and doing a little bit of sewing!

omg your hair is always so dreamy, i love it!
ReplyDeleteYes! I love hats! I wear them all fall and winter and into the spring a bit too. I recently added a couple of vintage ones from my great-grandmother to the mix and now I'm itching to find some more.
ReplyDeleteeeek i love the skirt! i have to find a similar one it would fit perfectly to 99% of my print shirts i guess.
ReplyDeleteloving your hair...im about to go pink again, just waiting for the green and purple to wash out a little more first! i miss pink! your outfit is divine, you are one beautiful and unique lady xxx
ReplyDeleteAutumn screams hats to me too. Love the hat :D x
ReplyDeletewell.. even on a grey stage, you're a pretty pile of skittle barf! ;o)

Love this monochromatic thing you've got going! :) Have a great sewing date!
ReplyDeleteSo adorable!! I love that little necklace! You should check out www.retrose.com and, no this isn't a lame plug for some random site. I've seen the lady who runs that site at craft fairs and she makes the COOLEST jewelry, all with these amazing little roses. Definitely seems "up your alley".
ReplyDeleteI love that simplicity and those shades of pale grey, it just makes your beautiful hair pop more!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! And that hat is absolutely adorable! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, it looks like something I would put together for a comfy and simple outfit, and I LOVE that hat. Fall and Winter is hat season for me too, I pulled my hats out the other day and one of them is too big, did my head shrink? Was my hair thicker? Did I just not notice it was too big for my head? I don't understand...either way I want new hats and a skirt like the one you are wearing. Also are those walmart tights recent? I'm in serious need of colored tights.
ReplyDeletexomando
Hi! I picked up the tights earlier this year...sometime while it was still winter. I haven't been back to check on the Walmart tights situation since then!
DeleteYour hair is so cute! Especially with the hat. I love hats!

Your hairs are looking so freaking cute!
ReplyDeleteMan that hat is SOME thrift find! I am also quite partial to hats with feathers, I have a sweet one that practically has a plume on it! It's super fancy though so I never get to wear it, but I just admire it sometimes. So regal looking. Maybe I should wear it to a horse race!

I love, love, love your hat! And it's really cute how the ribbon matches your current color. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your hat collection!
ReplyDeleteCuriously, Kimberly
You are so cute, colour or not miss. I LOOOOOOVE that hat. It's perfect.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love how your hair stands out against the blues and the grays. I so wish I could do that to my hair! I love the hat too! Great outfit :)

The all-grey outfit lets your hair stand out so nicely!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! :) Love the hat.
ReplyDeletei'm definitely in the "hats for fall" boat! i'm not sure why i think they only seem fitting for this season but i realized it when i was on my way to a wedding this weekend and thought, "darn, i should've worn a hat since it's fall now!" year round hats just seem . . . silly to me!? ha. lovely outfit though!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is lovely, the colour scheme really compliments your hair. I definitely need to invest in some new hats, I've got a couple of nice/comfy ones but nothing really pretty. The little feather is such an adorable touch xo
ReplyDeleteI love me some hats too! Unfortunately I have one giant head and hat purchases are few and far between...
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your hair!! My gosh!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I totally know what you mean with the whole "is my hair color + bright outfit too much?" Sometimes I wear black for a few days while I'm getting used to the new color. And then I usually just stop worrying about it. =D
Love all these beautiful shades of gray!
ReplyDeleteI'm digging on the cool colors. I love me a bright outfit, but these really compliment your hair. Side bar: I love that you actually smile in your outfit posts. I feel like a lot of people don't. Keep rockin' it!
ReplyDeleteCute! I love your hat. I too have a very small collection of hats that I only wear in the fall.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you hear this a lot but, I LOVE your hair! ...especially with all the grey in that outfit :)
ReplyDeleteI love the neutrality of this outfit. Makes your gorgeous hair stand out even more.
