One of the coolest things I saw while we were visiting Chicago with Kaylah and Kevin were jellyfish. After a crazy morning of trying to find parking near Shedd Aquarium on the first football game day of the season we finally made our way to see the aquarium and the special Jellies exhibit. I hope you think jellyfish are as neat looking as I do because you are about to see a whole swarm of them.
Don't they blow your mind?! Maybe they just blow my mind. Jellyfish are so awesome to take photos of because they just look so interesting. Kaylah and I both agreed that we probably took more photos of jellyfish than of anything else.♥elycia
Did you know that a large group of jellies are called a squish?
ReplyDeleteOn another jelly related note - I once went ocean kayaking with my sister in the Queen Charlottes and was totally surrounded by those fried egg jellies! I was determined it would be the death of me. I survived.
Wow Elycia, these photos are incredibly beautiful!
ReplyDeletejellyfish are awesome, just not near me in the water :D
ReplyDeleteWicked cool! I went to the Boston Aquarium a few months ago, they had jelly fish that lit up rainbow! I wish I had had a better camera then! They're my favorite next to sea turtles :)

Yes, jellyfish ate incredible! Your photos are amazong!
ReplyDeleteYou know i meant amazing but amazong sounds pretty great too :)
ReplyDeleteJellyfish are terrifying especially box jellyfish. Dan and I saw this program about deadliest sea creatures. There's a super tiny jellyfish that's the size of your thumbnail and most often people don't realize they've been stung until they start experiencing symptoms from the injected venom.
ReplyDeleteBut they are pretty.
These photos are BEAUTIFUL!!
ReplyDeleteLast time that I went to the Tennessee Aquarium (you girls would love it!) I took pictures of the jellyfish and they can be hard to capture. I think I only took a few that I REALLY liked.

Wow, this is so cool! While we were at a beach in P.E.I. we saw a lot of washed up jellyfish, they don't look half as cool as those ones though, they were just kind of brown. But really neat! I love these pictures! You're so talented :)
