head to toe:
dress - Red Velvet
cardigan - H&M (elbow patches by me)
belt - vintage
tights - mall
socks - made by me (see post here)
shoes - ModCloth
I wore this last Sunday to Ivan's cousin's birthday party. Everyone at the party thought this dress was so cool and I have to say I agree. The thread pattern is just too cute!
Today Ivan and I were going to go apple picking (something I have been trying to do for the last 3 years and keep missing out on for some reason) but we both have small colds and I don't want to feel yucky when I finally do go! So instead we are going to hunt for some thrift treasures. Perfect cure for a cold, right?
I hope everyone has a great Saturday!

you look super cute in that dress!! Happy Thanksgiving fellow Canadian, I am thankful for your blog :)
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time to your blog (I found you via A is for Ampersand) and I just want to say that your hair is ADORABLE! I've experimented with hair colors over the years, but never got mine to look quite as stylish and put together as yours. Perhaps it's the curse of curly hair--when it's a fluorescent color, you just end up looking like a radioactive alien.
ReplyDeleteThis is what i love about sewing.. I called it Self expression. You are free to express your individuality and what is a better way to express that than wear a custom made dress? Learning how to sew a dress gives you the opportunity to express your creativity and uniqueness that is suppressed or limited by ready to wear clothes.
