home :: living room peek

Hi!

Oh my goodness, moving is hard work! I seriously can't believe how much stuff we (mostly me actually) have. I have lots of boxes to sort through and rooms to make pretty. So far I have painted one room and let me tell you, paint makes such a difference for me. I love the colour we chose so much and our house is starting to feel more "ours". Here is a little preview of our living room which is on it's way to looking cute!


Those curtains may be my favourite thrift find to date. They are seriously the prettiest curtains I have ever seen. I am hoping to hit the curtain jackpot again for some of our other rooms.

We haven't hung anything on the walls yet but I have a few things in mind. I will keep you updated on our decorating progress! I'm so so excited.

    Shades of turquoise/teal are my favorite so I'm LOVING your room! And you're right, those curtains are FANTASTIC! I'm totally coveting your living room ha ha.

    Eep! It looks SO pretty! That color blue is my absolute favorite...I have my kitchen painted a similar shade. Good luck getting through moving...it'll all be worth it in the end!

    Those curtains are a beaut! Ages ago I found a set that I bet you'd die for - I sure did. I just measured windows the other day and they won't work :( Maybe I should send you some measurements.

    Love the paint colour you chose. And your curtains match a chair in my apartment perfectly (our chair has a green bkgrnd instead of white.

    The curtains are beautiful and I love the paint colour - my living room was that colour when I bought the place; it was really dirty, though, and too dark for the room, but I was a bit heartbroken painting over it.

    The curtains remind me of the ones in the Solomon house on 3rd Rock from the Sun- they always had a lot of retro chic going on!

    I LOVE that shade of blue. Isn't painting the best? I've slowly been painting all the rooms in our new house. So much fun. And I'm a little jealous of your awesome curtain find! I have been hunting with no luck so far. Persistence is key, right?
