new do :: bangs

I went ahead and cut myself some bangs! I was a little nervous doing it myself but I'm happy with the result. It is a nice change. I actually filmed a video of me cutting my bangs to show you how easy it is to cut your own hair. Unfortunately my computer is too full and it's freaking out. I need to transfer some files and then I can share it if anyone is interested?

    Super cute! And I applaud you for doing it yourself! I have curly hair so I think it would be a little harder to cut my own hair... and I've always wanted bangs but they don't really go with curls! Great job! :)

    Woohoo! Your bangs look great! I am sitting here with hairdye on my head as we speak... some blueish purple stuff. And I have been dealing with the same problem of my computer barely being able to function because it's out of hard drive space. Ugh, computers. Anyways, I hope we get to see your hair-cutting video soon!

    I love you with bangs! They frame your face nicely, although I liked your side-swept bangs, too.

    I cut my bangs myself sometimes, but I always feel like there's a strand that either shouldn't have been cut and it lays weird, or there's a piece that should have been cut but it wasn't and it gets in the way. But I don't want to obsess over it or I'd end up with a mullet. :P With that said, a video would be nice. haha!

    It looks fantastic!! I cut my own bangs too! Once I started doing it myself last year & realized how easy it is, I couldn't believe I used to pay for people to do it for me!

    I am so interested, I've been scared to cut my own right now but your video would embolden me a bit! I really want to try it out but I have no idea if there's some technique I don't know about. Your hair looks great though, bangs create such a big change with such little effort!

    Cute! I cut my own bangs all the time. It totally saves on trips to the hair dresser between cuts and keeps my hair out of my eyes!

    I just went in the bathroom and cut all my hair off last night! So much for trying to grow it out.. I like it though, a change is so nice sometimes.

    They look fantastic! I have been planning on dying it a different color after my Mom's wedding. I want attention on my Mom and not my hair color. I also thought about getting it cut as well but not sure if I want it short or just style different.

    How brave! I've been tempted to try cutting my bangs and have looked at a few tutorials online, but chicken out every time! I'd be really curious to see your video though! I haven't had bangs since... elementary school? But I'm curious to try them again!

    I feel like I'm being welcomed into the land of the self-fringe cutters.

    I cut my own fringe / bangs, it soo easy. But I'm forever telling myself to go to a hair dresser then get annoyed and just lop it off myself.
