hair :: new do

Just a quick post to show you, and tell you, about my new do. So, the story is...I ran out of pink dye. I did however have some turquoise left over from when I dyed the underneath before. So I decided to throw some blue over the pink! Originally I planned on covering my whole head in the blue dye because I thought it would mix with the pink and go purple. Instead I decided to just dye the first inch or two blue. This is a reallllly powerful blue dye and the parts that had the dye directly on them went completely blue. The parts that had no dye turned purple during the rinsing stage.

To sum up this story (it is starting to get long) sometimes hair experiments turn out really pretty! I am so happy with the different colours going on on my head at the moment. Fun!

    Is this for real? I feel like it's the most glorious thing I've ever seen. I want to braid it. is it weird that I want to braid it? I tell that to Mitch all the time and he gets really upset. I just tell him he'll look like Daniel Day Lewis from Last of the Mohicans. Who wouldn't want to look like a Mohican?

    I always wanted fun colored hair but it's a dark brown so it's hard to get the full color without bleaching. As much as I liked the pink this color is just as awesome :)

    ahhh, it's so freaking cute!! i love that first photo and how your teeny little bun is just purple. it's so neat that you can have coloured hair at your job. i feel like i should tried funky coloured hair before i get a 'career' job in fear of getting one and never being able to explore the world of rainbow coloured hair!!

    Oh.My.Wow. It looks amazing! I'm currently deciding whether to put the time into bleaching my hair - it's got a lot of brown build-up so it's gonna be a pain, but after seeing you're I'm a lot more tempted!
