I wore this last night to go see Harry Potter with Ivan and my cousin! Ya! I thought it was pretty great. I can't wait to have a movie marathon an watch all of them in a row. That might take a while but I think it would be so fun. Who's in?
As you can maybe tell, my hair is a couple different shades of pink at the moment. The other night in the shower I put some non-diluted dye on my hair for a little while. Parts of it went much brighter and then there are still some really light parts. It think the streaks make it look more 'natural'. Is that possible with pink hair? hehe.

lovely dress!!! your pink hair make the perfect contrast with your eyes and their color pops amazingly!!! hugs, Dora
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit, the dress matches your eyes!
ReplyDeleteI could never get my hair to look that good in pink, it's amazing that you do it yourself!
I saw the movie Friday and LOVED it :D
the streaks came out nicely! and how cool to match your eye color with your dress.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your outfit! Very cute. :)
ReplyDeleteJust curious, what brand of dye did you use? I really like the shade of pink you achieved.
Your hair looks adorable! I think the different shades look really pretty, like they are highlights :) And your dress is so cute too! I hope you had fun at the movies!
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit and I think you're right about the pink looking more natural! I'm also rather taken with those floorboards...!
ReplyDeleteI like the different shades, it less 'wig-like'. Nice outfit! I got to sell things at a table at our Harry Potter midnight showing for Hot Topic. Then when we were finished we got to see the movie for free in 3D! It was awesome! Now I can't wait to read the books! I'm a later bloomer in the HP world, but I'm excited about it!
ReplyDeleteI'm putting off seeing the last Harry Potter. I don't want it to end. :(
ReplyDeletelovely dress! it goes so well with your hair, but then again, everything does :)

I'm in! I can't wait to see part 2 :D
ReplyDeleteI love your dress, elycia!

I love the different shades of pink in your hair! It compliments your dress too--but in my world, pink goes with everything!
ReplyDeleteNice dress my friend! I dig those sleeves and that neckline. Plus it looks kinda comfortable (and I do believe that is a guilty pleasure when it comes to dressing stylishing, no?). ♥
ReplyDeleteyour hair looks great! love the dress too.
ReplyDeleteI'm down for a HP marathon any day of the week! I dyed my hair pink for the premier (just a wash out) and am missing it already!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is so neat! The whole outfit is adorable.

Great outfit and GREAT hair. :) It does look more "natural". I have bold platinum highlights and yesterday I dyed my entire head purple. The highlights were bright and the rest of my hair (normally light brown) turned a black cherry color. Much more "natural". lol
ReplyDeleteharry potter!!!! so glad this post does not include any spoilers even though i read the books, i don't want to know anything! a couple blogs i read have some spoilers and that makes me so sad :( really like your hair, makes it look more natural if that makes any sense.. it does right? well i love your hair pink oh so much! you are such a cutie!

ReplyDeletetotally natural, for sure! you rock that pink! xo
ReplyDeletethanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteseaira, i use manic panic cotton candy but dilute it with conditioner so it is a bit more pastel. You have some pretty pink hair yourself!
You look great, I love the dress and your hair! A year ago I also dyed my hair pink :) but just some locks! Love that colour though.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to see Harry Potter tomorrow! Can't wait!

Hello! I'm a new visitor so I thought I would say hi. I love your blog ♥ And I love that dress! It's so pretty, and looks like it would be really breezy to wear in the summer :)
ReplyDeleteI think your hair is really nice with the new streaks!
Your hair looks like cotton candy! I love it!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I definitely need a Harry Potter marathon once this movie comes out on dvd! It was so good <3
Cute little striped dress! My sister and I took the costume route for the premiere. We loved it so much! We had a marathon of all the movies leading up to the new one so we saw them all right in a row!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is so so gorgeous, it looks lovely on you! For some reason when I read the title of your post in my blog reader list I thought you were going to be in full character dress up hahaha. This is much nicer though :) x
ReplyDeleteI think so far this is my favorite outfit post, I live the dress! It is perfection on you...
ReplyDeletethat looks adorable. love the shoes.
ReplyDeleteCute dress!! Looks sooo comfy too :)
ReplyDelete1. I LOVE the hair and wish I had the patience. I have bright red in mine right now (well, actually due to the patience thing it's now really faded and I don't have the patience to go through the whole dying process again). I think the multifaceted pink effect works nicely!
ReplyDelete2. I also want to marathon all HP movies, and estimate it will take about 3 hours per movie (include bathroom breaks and getting snacks) times eight movies... so that would be about a full 24 hours. Granted, this is an over estimation. But not if you also plan to watch special features. :)
3. You look adorable as always!
I LOVE the brighter pink, and the pieces of blonde! You have the best hair ALWAYS! xo.
ReplyDeleteYour hair is looking SO rad right now -- love it! :) And I can't wait to see some HP... going this Wednesday!!
ReplyDeleteLooks cute! Love the hair :) and the shoes (I've got those - and LOVE them!)
ReplyDeleteLove the different shades of pink in your hair!!

My gosh, the dress is to die for! Hair looks a treat too. I've finally got the esty shop open and have some sweet dresses going up each day. I really think you'd like some of them. Will sign up for August sponsorship and maybe we can do some sort of giveaway?? Looks like you guys had the 'bestest' time in NYC too ;)

Adorable outfit! Loved Harry Potter. Every night leading up to the premiere my roommate and I watched one of the previous movies. Great fun! I definitely recommend a movie marathon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute dress! Perfect for Harry Potter watching! I like the streaked effect - it gives your hair nice dimension.
ReplyDeletei adore your outfit. and your hair? BIG LOVE!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely dress, you really suit blue!
