On Saturday, after our button making party (wedding stuff), Ivan and our friends went to check out the release of a new vinyl toy, bu! They had a bunch of different artists decorate them and it was so cool to see how so many people made the same thing look so different. Here are some really cool ones.
So fun!
I kind of wanted to buy one to decorate myself but I didn't. Maybe next time! With one shot things like that I feel like there is so much pressure to do something really cool that I end up doing nothing! Although, I think it would be super cute to make a Farva and an Anakin.

My absolute favorite is the wool one!
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived in America. There just seems to be so much out there that doesn't exist where I live!

ReplyDeleteI have a Munny doll that I've been wanting to decorate, but I just can't think of what to do! Maybe something with yarn??

ReplyDeleteHey! You went to the bu launch! Did you know one of the artists there? We just recently met one of the gals behind crywolf & i think it's so amazing that they released a vinyl toy :)

ReplyDeleteThese are all so awesome! I can't believe they were all the same thing at one point. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteThe launch pictures are so great!
ReplyDeleteIf you're concerned about messing one of your own up (I know I tend to be with pricier vinyl toys!) Michael's craft store has their own line of less expensive ones, which are great for practicing on. :)
Oooh - I heard about that via Crywolf and was sad that I was, well, across the country! lol. Looks like it was really cool! :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow! These are super duper awesome! I really like the 5th and 6th ones, very sweet :)
