Yes I have a preference for how toilet paper is hung on the holder. A weird quirk, I know. And be warned...if I use your bathroom and the roll is the "wrong" way, I will probably flip it. Sorry!
Is toilet paper placement something that has ever crossed your mind? Do you have a preference?

OH MY GOSH!!! Jen is like you and I'm the other way, as my mom was. My dad also liked the paper flipped your and Jen's way. XD I love hearing about TP quirks!

ReplyDeleteI'm the same as you... I've even flipped it a few times in public restrooms when they weren't those huge plastic locked things. I didn't realize how bad it was until I did that- but it was like habit, and I never even thought about it until after I was finished making the switch!

ReplyDeleteI have this same quirk.. and many others. I am a tad OCD with little things like this. Which way socks should be folded, the colour highlighter that has to be used, and even the volume on the radio landing on an even number!

ReplyDeletekaisha, i actually didn't realize how particular i could be about certain things until my cousin was helping me at work and i was explaining how i like to do certain things. i was listening to myself tell her all these crazy specifics about how I like to write things, the colours i highlight, how i stack coins. yikes!!

I agree with the TP, and I think a lot of people get annoyed with it actually! I hate when people have it on wrong! I am pretty sure the "correct" way is the way you (And I) like it :)

ReplyDeletehaha, I'm the same way. One of my bf's friends came over when we first moved in and he checked out our bathroom to make sure I put the tp the "right way". He's on the same boat as us, but apparently his wife isn't and it drives him crazy :P

I never even knew there was a wrong way to hang toilet paper until my husband pointed it out. I don't have a preference. As long as there is paper on the roll when I need it, I'm happy.

Oh gosh. This literally made me laugh out loud. I absolutely HATE it when it's done the wrong way. And has anyone ever noticed that while most people do it the right way in their homes (Elycia's way), most public places do it the other way? It's so annoying....but it never fails.

ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law once flipped all the paper rolls in her office, and the next time she went in the bathroom someone had flipped them all back the other way!! Cracks me up. I personally don't have a preference. As long as there IS toilet paper on the roll when I need it!!
