People ask me pretty often if I wish I had siblings. I can't really say for sure because I only know what it feels like not to have them. Yeah, in some ways it would probably be cool but I really don't like people touching my things when I'm not around...and I hear brothers and sisters are all about that kind of thing ;)

yeah my sister is always touhing my stuff, moving things from my room, taking my moneysss...much better that you don't have any siblings!! ;)
ReplyDeleteofcoarse its nice to have a sister too x
I'm an only child as well and I always get that question. So glad it's not just me. I'm also the same way with people touching my stuff and everyone always thinks that is crazy. Maybe it's an only child thing!

Elycia, I am crazy for your photos recently. Seriously, it's kind of a weird thing to notice but your pictures have been so great lately.
ReplyDeleteI'm an only child too! And I totally act like one... ;)

I'm an only child also. I sometimes wish I'd had siblings, especially now that I'm older. I see the wonderful relationships my friends now have with their brothers and sisters and I feel like I'm missing out.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger there were a lot of advantages to being an only child. The problem is, I've never really grasped the concept of sharing - my husband points this out all the time.
I'm an only child too ^_^ I'm glad I am though...I'm insanely solitary when I'm at home, and I think I'd flip out if people kept wandering into my room touching things lol!
ReplyDeleteI love your blythes btw!!
I'm an only child as well. I'm sure if I had brothers and sisters I would have a different view on "my stuff" and things but I never did. Some people say "Aw, I'm sorry." When I say I'm an only child which I never understood. Oh well! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeletelove LOVE this photo!
ReplyDeletehaha only child syndrome :) jk! you got to get all the lovin from your parents... lucky1

Steffys Pros and Cons
They totally are. Not only do they touch your stuff but they break it and then don't say anything!
ReplyDeleteme tooooo! I do have a little half sister now. She's only 7 though. I liked being an only child, but sometimes people don't understand why I don't share very well. I just never had to!
ReplyDeleteI'm an only-child too!! I always liked it as a kid but as I've gotten older I kind of wish I had a brother or sister. My family is really small too because my mom is also an only.
ReplyDeletei'm the youngest girl of 3, and they still refer to me as "the baby of the family" and i'm almost 30....i also can confirm growing up i touched all of both of their stuff.
ReplyDeleteYou're adorable.
ReplyDeletehaha, you guys are awesome. i'm pretty sure i have a slight case of only child syndrome.
ReplyDeletekaylah, thank you!! I have actually been working on improving my photos so it is nice of you to notice! I have been playing with the manual settings instead of just choosing the aperture and letting the camera pick the shutter speed. i think i usually make better choices than the camera, haha ;)
I'm a baby sister. I have two older half-sisters, an older half-brother and a brother-in-law. My half-sisters are in their 40s (though they act like they are in their 20s,) my brother-in-law is too and my half brother I don't count as family as he's a total dick.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel like an only child, because the above weren't really around when I was little. I played mostly by my self, etc. I honestly don't mind one bit and can't think of what it'd be like with sibs around my own age. :/
Yay for only children! I'm an only too and I get that question always. I have had a love/hate relationship with being an only child over the years!
ReplyDeleteI've got two brothers, but sometimes I still long for a sister just because I'd like a girl relative. But it's okay- my one brother loves to shop, so I guess that's like having a sister. ^_~
ReplyDeleteI like being the oldest because not only was I an only child for a long time before them, I also am like someone they look to for advice and come to before going to mom. It makes me feel special.
Trust me, they are all about that kind of thing :P
ReplyDelete{I have twin brothers :P}
I love that second picture there!

I have an older sister. We really used to be like cat and dog (first we played nice, 5 min. later war broke loose) but when she moved out of the house, we started realising what we really ment to each other.
ReplyDeleteWe actually never say it, but we know we both wouldn't know what to do if we'd lose each other.
This is the cutest picture of you ever! Such pretty lighting!
ReplyDeletethat photo of you with the blythe dolls around your head is absolutely adorable. they are the only siblings you need ;)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little I would go into my sister's room and take quarters out of her change jar to buy candy.
ReplyDeleteYup, I have three siblings (all older), and other people getting into your stuff is definitely part of the sibling experience, haha!
ReplyDeletePS - I love your Blythes! MSR will hopefully be my next addition - love her!
I have a brother, but most of the time I feel like an only child, I always dreamed of having a sister, or a sibling to be really close with, Im kinda thankful for sisters in law, and brother in law! they are the siblings I never had :)
ReplyDeleteheh - I'm an older child, and I'm pretty sure my sister is the reason I *hate* my stuff being touched/used. lol.
