well, it was on Saturday. After the cat show (which was at the Ancaster Fairgrounds) we popped into the Value Village in Waterdown. This was how they had their books organized! By colour! I seriously freaked out about how pretty it was. I took a bunch of photos and eventually this lady looking at books across from these started giving me strange looks, haha.
love, elycia
Aww, I've always wanted to organize my books that way! Someone who works there got very creative. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Waterdown Value Village and it's mostly because of the colour coordinated books.
ReplyDeleteYeahhh, that's AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteI would have taken those photos, too. I think that's awesome because color is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I love it when people shoot me strange looks for taking pictures.
ReplyDeleteI always love it when things are organized by color :)
life would be practically meaningless for me without color to liven it up. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh that is beautiful! Now I want to go home and rearrange my bookshelf like that - although I don't think I have THAT many books! :)

All my movies are organized like this! No one ever gets as excited about it as I do.. haha
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking about doing this in my house. You know... if I ever find book shelves I like.
ReplyDeleteThe Value Village in Brantford had their books like that for a while. It is super nice to look at however, it's impossible to find anything.
ReplyDeleteThat lady doesn't know beauty when she sees it if she gave you dirty looks. I would have been posing next to them and embarrassing the boyfriend :)
ReplyDeleteHa. All of my books in my apartment are organized by color. No one ever notices. I bet you would though.
ReplyDeleteI'm accustomed to the strange looks while snapping photos at thrift stores and yard sales :) Comes with the territory of blogging.
ReplyDeleteI love the books organized by color here, too! I've seen it for clothes in thrift stores, but not books.
holy frig!
ReplyDeletewhat an amazing idea!

ReplyDeleteI like it! When I worked at VV we would try and sort by genre. I would have much preferred by colour. Would have saved me a lot of time!
