I originally took these photos so that I wouldn't buy these plaques. But then I just couldn't resist them. They were too cute not to come home with me. They remind me of Strawberry Shortcake characters (which I love!).
Do you ever take photos of things so that you won't buy them? It usually helps me not to buy things because sometimes I just really like looking at them and a photo will do.

those are adorable! i love the colors. and i've never tried taking a photo of something instead of buying it....that's a great idea though.

I totally do take pictures to things I love so I wont spent any money on them. Sometimes I end up buying them anyway like you did, I guess there are things that just convince us no matter what we do to avoid them :/

ReplyDeleteThose plaques are adorable. They remind me of some Holly Hobbies ones my Mom made for me when I was little. She made her plaques out of plaster of paris though.

The one on the left reminds me of Holly Hobbie. :) I really love the one on the right though! Looks like something I would want to wear. <3

ReplyDeleteI do take pics of things so I won't buy them! Sometimes it's things that I like but want to make myself, like overpriced clothing. Other times it's things that I intend to buy at some point and don't want to forget about.

ReplyDeletealso... I too totally thought of strawberry shortcake when I saw those girls, and then I said to myself "that's not strawberry shortcake. remember we all use to wear bonnets." ok, so I'm dating myself, but in the very early eighties, we were bonnets :)
thats actually a great idea because my shopaholic ass always buys everything haha. those plaques are such a sweet buy!

yea, I wouldn't have been able to just leave it at photos either. those pretty ladies would go perfectly on my crazy picture wall. And by wall I mean room. The pictures are taking over the entire roomm.
