On Saturday, as I mentioned, we checked out the Absolutely Vintage Show and Sale in Toronto. The event was actually at a Maple Cottage which is right beside this street called Memory Lane. Cute!
I didn't take any photos inside this place but there were some really pretty dresses! Somehow I managed to not buy anything. I saw lots of great things but nothing that I HAD to have. Then we went down the street to that Gadabout store that I posted the video for. I took tons of photos in there. We spent so much time in that store, it was like being in someone's attic. Someone's really awesome attic full of treasures.
they had a bunch of awesome shoes too!
Possibly the coolest thing about this store was the drawers full of people's old photos, report cards, planners and diaries.
I want to live in this store. I seriously could have stayed there all day taking photos of all of the cool things inside.
Did you have a good weekend?
love, elycia
I think i couldn't stand not to buy anything from that store. Btw, yea, we had a good weekend too, a vespa trip me and hubby took was fun.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, i've been reading your blog for quite a while now and i love it, Elycia. And love your hair too :D
thanks eva! you're so sweet. it was hard to not buy anything. i think if i had of bought one thing i probably would not have been able to stop. it was almost easier to get nothing, haha. if that makes sense.
ReplyDeletea vespa trip sounds soooo fun!
that looks like a fun place to browse around whenever one feels down! Love the blue shoes <3
ReplyDeleteOooh I love finding things like photos and diaries. And a report card? So cool! It's funny, I don't think I could explain why I would love looking at a complete stranger's report card, but I would none the less! I guess other people feel that way too if the shop owner decided to sell them. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOoo, fantastic shop. Those blue shoes... *swoon*
