In case you haven't guessed, we went to a cat show! too awesome for words. There were tons of adorable cats and it was really cool to see so many different breeds in one place; they even had cats for sale. I fully support rescuing cats instead of buying them from breeders but purebred cats are still interesting and beautiful to look at.
what did you do this weekend?
love, elycia
OMG that tree for kitties is awesome.
ReplyDeleteso much adorableness!
ReplyDeleteI agree... I have never bought a cat from a breeder. I prefer the shelter & rescue kitties. But a cat show would for sure be an interesting & fun way to see cats from a different point of view.
that third-from-last picture is HILARIOUS
ReplyDeleteCats are so beautiful, but i am soooo allergic to most of them! I love the leopard looking cats in the cage! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeletexoxo~meg
Punk rawk purl, it was interesting! both of my cats are SPCA kittes. it is so hard for me not to get more cats from shelters! i want to give them all homes.
ReplyDeletekaelah, i thought it was sooo funny that they fed that kitty with chopsticks. i asked why and the said 'because it looks cool'. haha. that cat was the biggest fluff ball i have ever seen!
meg, believe it or not both ivan and i are allergic to cats. i used to have to take allergy pills when i was going to be around them. so of course we did the smart thing and got a cat, haha (our allergies were not crazy bad like some people's). now i have built up an immunity i think. i am more allergic to some cats though.
hahaha @ that fat cat getting fed with chopsticks, what a spoiled brat!
ReplyDeletei'm so jealous, i'd love to go see tons of pretty kitties in one place.

MAN I am jealous. I'm going to see if there are any cat shows around here!
Ahhh! So cute.
ReplyDeleteWs and I like to visit a place not too far from us called The Last Post. They take in a lot of old cats that no one can care for anymore, sometimes we just go out there to keep the cats company.
My favorite cat breeds are lilac point Siamese and Scottish folds. I totally agree with you about adopting a pound-kitty though. I drove to Amarillo this weekend and bought cute spring dresses in the hopes that the weather would take notice and warm up.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous! my weekend definitely wasn't as awesome as yours.
ReplyDeleteI love cats (: Especially the one at the fourth picture!
ReplyDeleteHey! Are you from Hamilton?? (points to hand stamp in last photo) If so, where was this? This is super cool! :D
ReplyDeletebelieve it or not...we did not see a single cat hiss! i was suprised!
ReplyDeletepocketwonders, yes i am from hamilton! (stoney creek) the show was at the Ancaster Fairgrounds.
Aaaahh!! i love the plump cat getting fed with the chopsticks too! Its like something out of a movie! Bet my cat oscay would love to be fed with chopsticks. better not give him any ideas!
ReplyDeleteLa
I need to go to a cat show! I would be in kittycat heaven! I, too, am a rescue cat girl, not so much into breeders & purebreds. I like me my guess-what-I-am breed of cat. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I love seeing and learning about all the different breeds of cats in the world. That's why one of my favourite TV shows is Cats 101. meow!
omg! is that cat eating from chopstix??!!?!?!
ReplyDeleteThere was a tiny sign at the vet that said cat show. I was too busy with my sick cat to investigate BUT NOW I NEED TO GO TO ONE! omg...so cute
ReplyDeletecats cats cats
ohh man, they're all so cute! i'm more of a dog person myself. but i did have 3 cats that ended up having to live with my ex fiance's family. i miss them, but my husband isn't a cat person!
ReplyDeleteI love cats. So cute.
ReplyDeleteI volunteer with a cat rescue organization so one of my favorite things to do is volunteer at the adoption fairs...you get to hang-out with all the different, and lovely kitties. Love the pic of the spoiled cat being fed with chopsticks! Haha!
