does anyone else ever dream that their teeth are loose/falling out? every once and a while i will dream about this and i don't like it! maybe it's because i haven't been to the dentist in quite some time, haha.
do you dream about anything weird that you would like to share with me?
♥elycia
omg i have dreams like that! when i was younger, i absolutely hated losing teeth... and i'll have dreams where they are all falling out- and it even feels painful! one time when i was little my parents actually tied my tooth to a doorknob because i didn't want to pull it out! then they made ME shut the door... heh
ReplyDeletei have a horrible dream sometimes where i am trying to get away from someone who has broken into my house or car (if it's a driving dream) and i grab my bag, but forget my kid! it's a horrible feeling! don't quite know how to interpret that one!
ReplyDeleteummm....i have heard that means your pregnant! i have never had one of those dreams before it sounds horrible! i haven't gone to the dentist in some time either...it is by far the worst place ever! i hate all the scrapping and the noises!

ew i hate dreams like that, i have one probably about once a month. it's crazy weird and kind of scares me.. just a little. i think all of my dreams are really weird. haha! oh well. :)
ReplyDeleteI have several reoccurring dreams...and that is definitely one of them. I also dream about tornadoes, storms, and war. Talk about inner turmoil!
ReplyDeleteI HATE teeth falling out dreams!! They are the worst. I had one last week actually. As soon as I woke up I checked the mirror then let out a relieved sigh. :]
ReplyDeleteI have teeth falling out/rotting dreams ALL THE TIME. and they always seem so real.
ReplyDeleteI read once that if you dream about rotten or decaying teeth either your health or business is in jeopardy, or your words are coming back to haunt you. I think I read something about it meaning you are too worried about your appearance.
I do dream about that. They will feel really loose, and some of them will fall out.
ReplyDeleteI totally dream like that right before I go to the dentist. If you haven't been in awhile they might do a root cleaning and as long as nothing hurts in your mouth, you are probably fine.
ReplyDeleteLast really weird dream was me being chased by zombies with baseball bats. :)
One time I heard the Dream Weaver say that loose teeth or teeth that are falling out in dreams is because we have either said too much or said something we wish we had'nt.
ReplyDeleteI don't know for sure but that is one kind of dream that always creeps me out.
I have heard that teeth dreams mean you have an insecurity about something going on in your life, and want to change it. I am by no means making accusations. It is just something someone told me ones. I have weird dreams about my mom trying to steal my job all the time. What does that say?
ReplyDeleteBTW my husband is from Hamilton. Glad I found a new Canadian read.
Apparently everyone has their own interpretation, but I've heard teeth-falling-out dreams are related to stress.
ReplyDeleteI used to have them a lot too, and I can see that above anything else being plausible!
They're unpleasant dreams none the less :(!
Haha, I've had dreams like that and just like everyone else...I hate them!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've read that anxiety/stress will bring on the tooth dreams! Love your blog <3
ReplyDeleteI have this dream often- if they don't break or fall out, they disintegrate like alka seltzer. I read a yahoo article that says almost everyone has this dream when they are worried.
ReplyDeleteOh geez...the loose teeth/teeth falling out dream is one of my worst nightmares...
ReplyDeleteDid you design your new header? I LOVE IT. Seriously. so cute!
ReplyDeleteEwwwie, I had that dream after a friend told me about one that she had. My dreams are usually creepy & wierd but I tend forget them after 24 hours. :-/
ReplyDeleteYES! That is the exact 'weird' dream I have too. It doesn't happen that often but when it does it really freaks me out. I'm not good at the sight or thought of teeth being pulled/falling out/rotting.
ReplyDeleteApart from that I had the same dream twice when I was a kid where I hung out at the swimming pool with dinosaurs and when it came to leaving I remember looking out of the back of the car and being really sad, haha.
weirdest dreams i keep having:
ReplyDelete- teeth faling
- hair falling
- me falling (this is the worst)
- me surrounded by nothing but water (i'm afraid of it, that's why)
creepy :((
I've definitely had that dream before. It's horrible! That, and falling are frequent dreams I have. Yikes.

I've had the teeth falling out dream quite a bit! It's horrible...It's weird that it's such a common dream too. I've also dreamed that I haven't shaved my armpits. Weird, and kinda gross. haha. But the tooth one is the only recurring dream I have...
ReplyDeletei've had those dreams. i think it's because i clench my teeth.
ReplyDeleteI've never had a teeth dream. But in nearly ALL my dreams, I have some type of disability during a disaster. For example, if I'm being chased, I suddenly can't run and it feel like I'm trying to run underwater almost. Or once, a building was on fire & my vision goes completely blurry! (like not wearing my contacts x1293081) hahaha
ReplyDeleteour minds sure are strange!

ReplyDeleteI have teeth dreams too. Usually I have hundreds of teeth and they're super skinny and all squeezed in tight together. Yuck. I also have dreams that I'm driving but I'm sitting in the back seat and can only reach the steering wheel and not the pedals. And I have dreams at least once a month that I'm in my elementary school and I'm going down the stairs but my feet are just skimming off the top of each step. It's more fun than scary.
YES! I have had the teeth dream at least 10 times! It is so vividly real and freaky...I hate it. I always wake up and check if my teeth are still there. :( I haven't remember any dreams in a while though, I remember a few times having really LONG dreams that seemed like a movie playing in my head.
ReplyDeleteYes and i hate it because they fall out in piles then grow back and keep doing it.
ReplyDeleteSicks me out.
I dream im in hospitals and am trying to get out and i have to see bloody messes of people and such, its bad.
I've had the teeth dream before as well. Never a good feeling!
ReplyDeleteWhen I get really stressed out, I will dream about spiders attacking me. Yuck!
THe worst part is when you can feel your mouth filling up with teeth that are breaking and you can seriously feel chunks and bits of teeth in your mouth and you can't stop biting down and there is blood everywhere.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, they say these dreams relate to jealousy. Who knows!
I have recurring dreams about public transport. Like I've forgotten my ticket, I can't find the right gate at the airport, there's no seats on the bus, I missed my stop, all very stress inducing!
ReplyDeleteI believe teeth falling out dreams are fairly common though, I don't know if that makes you feel better or not!
I actually grind my teeth in my sleep :S
ReplyDeleteI seem to have recurring dreams of being pregnant alot. It's quite terrifying sometimes xD
Uh!
ReplyDeleteThe teeth one!
Get that alot! I can wobble my teeth with my tongue and then they start to drop out!
Hate it!
I've never had a dream about losing my teeth.. I do have really vivid dreams and I remember almost every dream I had the next morning. One time I dreamt that I was skateboarding on a shopping cart. One of the best dreams ever.
ReplyDeleteI used to have that dream ALL THE TIME. And it was for the exact same reason - I hadn't been to the dentist in years. Or, to be more precise, my teeth really were falling apart and that's why I was having the dreams. Know what? Not a one since I visited my new not-so-scary dentist.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the dentist in a while, either. Shame on me! We pay for dental insurance. I have dreams like that a lot.
ReplyDeleteI checked my dream dictionary and it says dreaming that your teeth are falling out means that you are worrying things that are beyond your control. It can be something simple like "Oh, the party is this weekend, hope it doesn't rain". Myabe it is because you are working on all those wedding plans and you want things to be perfect. :)
ALL of the time. and i'm definitely not pregnant.
ReplyDeleteI have a 'dream book' and it means that you are worried about money! Before Liam & I moved into our first flat together I had dreams about my teeth falling out for days, and turns out, this is what it was about! x
ReplyDeletedid you know this is the most universally common dream? and i've NEVER had it! like Leonuh! says, it's supposed to be about money.
ReplyDeleteguess i can kiss that lotto payoff goodbye! :P
I have that dream too! My teeth always come out in pieces and then I spit them out and then the next one falls apart too over and over. So creepy. I am always super relieved when I wake up from that dream and realize my teeth are still intact! :)
ReplyDeleteYes I have had a dream once of my teeth falling out i had two pairs of teeth. it was gross but somewhat relaxing at the same time XD
ReplyDeletei loved reading about all of your strange dreams. it is comforting that other people have the teeth dream too, haha.
ReplyDeletei'm def not pregnant so it can't mean that! it is so interesting that dreams can mean so many different things.
I have those dreams almost once a week. My teeth never fall out in nice whole pieces, it's in chunks. And I'm usually standing over a sink or holding my hands out just catching pieces of teeth. Once I was actually spitting in my sleep (hahaha gross, I know) because I thought I was standing over the sink spitting out all of the blood and teeth (they are always very gory, haha!) and i woke up and there was SO much spit. Sometimes I have two rows of teeth... once they all fall out, I have more and they come out in pieces. Ugh, I hate them! Just because I always have to catch them and I don't know, it's annoying. Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteOh, my heavens. I have those dreams quite often. I always wake up freaking out and wondering how I'm ever going to live with missing teeth, and how I will ever get married. Haha. Frightening, but I try to take care of my teeth so that won't happen, hopefully! :)
