i thought i would start sharing a bit of wedding planning/prettiness every saturday. we are shooting for a may or june 2011 wedding (prob. june) and it will definitely be on a saturday. so first things first...here are our wedding colours!
we are so so happy with our colour scheme and i can't wait to start making invitations, decorations, accessories and searching for the perfect yellow typewriter.
if you are married, planning a wedding or dreaming of a wedding, what was/is/will be your colour scheme? i love looking at photos!

ReplyDeleteOh my god! Those are the same EXACT colors I've always dreamed of for my *someday* wedding! Yellow is my favorite color, green is my second, and green is also my boyfriend's fave, but also I am obsessed with gray and ivory! (and black, but I can't have black in my wedding unless it's a very small amount). I love your choices!! Can't wait to see how you pull it all together. Maybe I'll borrow a few of your ideas when my turn comes, with your permission of course!!

Ahhhhh those are like my DREAM colours. Obviously you can tell from my blog that I LOVE yellow & green together... and grays/whites give it that super classy/timeless feel. I'm so excited for you. I'm definitely planning on doing something similar... but don't worry I probably won't be getting married for at least another 3 years. ;)
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS colours!! I always thought I wanted a pretty green colour, like the one you picked! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your colors. I am sharing all your posts with my best friend who is getting married in July! I want to find the grey ruffle dress you posted here but I can't find it!??

My fiance and I are getting married in August 2013, a year after we move from Grand Junction, CO to Charlotte, NC. That is what we are aiming for! We've actually decided on a dark purple, blood red and black color scheme since it will be a vampiric wedding (we love Halloween, but want to have it in August since we want to go to the Gathering of the Juggalos that year!)
ReplyDeleteP.S. For the past few days, I have been reading your blog from the very beginning and now I am on this entry. I definitely love your blog and I know I will continue reading it to the current post, as well as then on after.
