GIVEAWAY: my girl thursday

i hardly ever use caps...can you tell i'm excited?


my girl thursday has been sweet enough to offer up an awesome item for me to give away. the item is a lovely reversible smock.  Made with "second chance" textiles (recycled, thrifted, repurposed)  and accented with vintage buttons. Thursday is working on re-opening her Etsy at the beginning of July so you can't even buy these smocks yet! you'll be the first owner of one, how exciting!

i want one...can i enter my own giveaway? hehe, probably not.

Chantilly McKinnon, aka Thursday, is a lifelong thrifter inspired by things old and sometimes forgotten.  
She weaves elements of vintage illustration and/or second chance textiles throughout her line of work.

    Thanks for following mine, I've just started so your interest is really encouraging. :-)
    I've been wanting to set up my own etsy shop and plans are coming together for this summer. I am so excited.
    I love to sew (by hand because I don't have a machine yet), I love knitting, paper crafts (gotten many paper cuts though...)I love water colors, and photography (looking into working for the yearbook here at college next year)...oh my! I love all kinds of things!
    Anything crafty!
    I love making things then wearing them out, or better, making something for someone else and seeing their smile as they first set eyes on my little creation!
    That's what it's all about for me.
